Project R.E.A.C.H. (Recycling Every Aluminum Can Helps) is a year-round program conducted in cooperation with Georgia fire departments, businesses and organizations, which serve as drop-site locations for the collection of empty aluminum cans for recycling.
The GFBF has been involved in the recycling of aluminum cans since the summer of 1986. In addition to being a source of revenue, Project R.E.A.C.H. is instrumental in keeping millions of cans out of area landfills.
Over the last 34 years, we have recycled more than four million pounds of aluminum, raising more than $2.2 million dollars for our mission and programs!
