COVID-19 Information

Due to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, the Georgia Firefighters Burn Foundation (GFBF) has taken proactive steps to address several business concerns. First and foremost, we want to maintain healthy workplace environments by adopting practices to protect the wellbeing of employees, volunteers, partners, stakeholders and the general public; while making the necessary adjustments to program offerings to meet the unique needs and circumstances of our service population.

Employees are required to practice social distancing as recommended by CDC, state and local health departments, and encouraged to virtually perform meetings, conferences or events online whenever possible, as we continue to evaluate, based on current conditions, whether to postpone, cancel or significantly reduce attendance and/or participation in the number of in-person activities and social gatherings.

To help ensure the sustainability of business operations during these challenging times, we ask everyone’s cooperation in taking steps to promote healthy behaviors that reduce the transmission of the COVID-19 virus and other communicable diseases.
