Juvenile Firesetter Intervention Programs

Collaborate with the Office of the Insurance and Fire Safety Commissioner, the Georgia State Fire Marshal’s Office, the Joseph M. Still Burn Center at Doctor’s Hospital in Augusta, the Grady Burn Center at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, the Department of Juvenile Justice, the Georgia Fire Academy , and the Georgia Public Safety Educators Association to form a statewide multidisciplinary taskforce to design new programs, as well as identify, study and recommend improvements for existing JFIPs. Additionally, the GFBF has partnered with the National Association of State Fire Marshals and Fireproof Children on a national level.
