DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP
Children “playing” with or setting fires is a serious problem in Georgia. Annually, youth cause thousands of fires which result in death, injury and property damage. The Georgia Firefighters Burn Foundation and The Office of the Commissioner of Insurance and Safety Fire will begin the first of a series of workshops designed to provide the knowledge and tools to develop and maintain local youth firesetter intervention programs. These uniquely structured two-day training events are ideal for the fire service, law enforcement agencies, mental health practitioners, social services agencies, the juvenile justice system and other agencies and professionals who work with youth.
Youth Firesetter Intervention Program Building Workshop, April 10 & 11, 2008. First Baptist Church of Woodstock, Woodstock, Georgia. You must register to attend.
