The Georgia Firefighters Burn Foundation (GFBF) collaborates with the American Burn Association to offer ABLS Provider Courses throughout the year to EMT-I, Paramedics, Emergency Room Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, PAs, & Physicians. This 8 hour course gives instruction on providing primary treatment for burn patients as outlined by the American Burn Association.

We completed the first ABLS class at the GFBF offices on Sept. 21, 2006 with 22 students. It was well noted additional classes are needed. Now with the high demand of classes that tend to fill very quickly, we encourage those who wish to be added to the ABLS Notification List to contact Don Williams via email at dwilliams@gfbf.org or call the GFBF office.
